Important Neighborhood Information concering EMC work!

Cobb EMC will begin replacing the main electrical lines throughout the majority of Forest Chase this week. This is a multi month project that is expected to be completed by Thanksgiving 2026.

The homes along Forest Way (and connecting streets) from Jamerson Rd. to N Hames Ct. are not affected. Also not affected, are a few homes on Forest Valley Place (those homes after Forest Chase Ter.). All other properties will see work during this project.

During this project, Underground Infrastructure Contractors will be completing the work on behalf of Cobb EMC. If you see markings on the street and/or near the street, know that you will see some workers soon. Note that small and large equipment may be used.

The work being completed will be done so in the roadway right of way. There will be disturbances to streets, curbs, sidewalks, and landscape. This is unavoidable due to the nature of work and the fact that the utilities are underground. Please note that Cobb EMC will send a separate landscaping crew in after work is completed in the area to remediate any damage to landscaping.
